Surely, crossplay would be the saving grace of Hyper Scape, allowing streamers to play in mixed lobbies for further viewership potential (not to mention, actually fully lobbies…)? Is Hyper Scape Dying? The game can be played on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and Ubisoft did reveal that crossplay support is coming "at a later date", we just don't know when that may be. Teleport is Omen all over, while the Wall is suspiciously similar to Sage's ability in the FPS. They too seem to take inspiration from Apex Legends (Reveal – Bloodhound scan etc.), and, weirdly enough, Riot Games' tactical shooter VALORANT.

It seems the “cutting edge” Twitch extension, wasn’t enough to lure in viewership. Hyper Scape launched on 11th August, 2020 as a free-to-play Battle Royale title, but gained very little traction.
